Pura Vida

“This is a restaurant that gives off the feel of Florida with both an inside and outside seating. Menu contains very simple ingredients and staff were willing to pull out the allergy binder for any questions. They notated my allergies on the order and then changed their gloves for me. This restaurant does get busy and will run out of seating so I like to go in between lunch and dinner rush. Personally I love making my own bowl and adding the toppings I can have.”

C.R. Chicks (PGA Blvd.)

“We ate lunch at CR Chick’s. The woman at the counter was helpful in helping us make decisions with such an expansive menu. We kept it simple and ordered chicken drumsticks and a side of fruit for the kids. Delicious food.”

Buccan

“I was extremely impressed with how this restaurant handled my allergy. We told them about the allergy when we made the reservation, and when we got there the waiter was already aware and understood that we needed to avoid cross-contamination with dairy as well. He told us that the owner’s children have food allergies, so all of the staff are rigorously trained. The food and service were excellent!!”

“True Food Kitchen has lots of great options when it comes to gluten-free and dairy free alternatives. With a constantly changing menu you’ll never be bored. However, it is sad when a favorite item goes away. Staff are always happy to accommodate and walk through the menu.”

Duffy’s Sports Grill

“Duffy’s has been consistently accommodating. We have a chef card and they start prepping the kitchen when we order drinks. They also remember what my kiddo orders and ask if he wants it again. A favorite goto. Great experience each time. They are excellent at communicating and they start prepping the kitchen when we present our chef card. Have been many times with multiple food allergies.”

The Melting Pot

“Good experience at The Melting Pot. Peanut and tree nut allergies were noted at reservation and our waitress was aware of this and ready with information. Our teen was able to eat the cheese, entree, and even dessert, choosing a basic chocolate option. Very clean restaurant—I had worried about cross-contamination with the dishes or cooking pots, but felt at ease once we were there.”

“Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area. Beautiful scenery outside and a nice bar to sit at before your table is ready. And the food is phenomenal. My favorites are the calamari and salmon with the side of fettuccine alfredo.”

Waxin’s

“My family loved Waxin’s so much that we visited twice in one week! It is almost a nut-free menu (with only one or two pine nut dishes, as far as I can recall) and a completely nut/sesame free dessert menu as well! The waitstaff was very proactive and helpful, and made us feel comfortable. Aside from allergies, the food was absolutely delicious—every dish we tried—and the general outdoor atmosphere was lovely! Highly recommend to anyone in the area!”
